The Explorers Club Washington Group’s sellout black tie Gala and Auction at the Washington, D.C. residence of the Portuguese Ambassador featured silent and live auctions with more than 70 items to bid on.

The highlight was a luxury trip to Portugal donatd by the Government of Portugal. The Ambassador’s chef prepared an array of Portuguese specialties.

Proceeds from the auction went to the ECGW’s Exploration and Field Research Grants Program for student explorers. the grants committee is looking for qualified applicants in the chapters geograhic region.
