The Explorers Club Washington Group extends its warmest congratulations to Dr. Bruce F. Molnia, FN’80, on being awarded an official Explorers Club Flag for the 2026 Prince William Sound, Alaska, Glacier Expedition.

The Explorers Club Flag represents a long tradition of scientific exploration, field research, and discovery in some of the world’s most challenging and important environments. Dr. Molnia’s upcoming expedition to Prince William Sound continues that legacy through the study and documentation of Alaska’s dynamic glacier systems and changing polar landscapes.

In accepting the award, Dr. Molnia expressed his appreciation to Vice President Martin Nweeia and the Flag and Honors Committee and noted his enthusiasm for sharing the expedition’s future Flag Report and presenting findings at Club Headquarters.
